5 days ago   |   By Wiley

Abstract
Brassica napus was originally formed ~7,500 years ago by interspecific hybridization between B. rape and B. oleracea , which supplies approximately 13%-16% of the vegetable oil globally. B. napus serves as an excellent model for polyploid genomics and evolutionary research in plants. Brassica database has long been used for rapeseed genomic research, which provides genome browser and syntenic relationship for multiple Brassicaceae genomes .
