Abstract
Background
LncRNA was known to be closely associated with the progression of human tumors. The role of lncRNA LIFR-AS1 in the pathogenesis and progression of gastric tumor is still unclear. The aim of this study was to investigate the function of LIFR-AS1 and the underlying mechanism in the pathogenesis and progression of gastric cancer.

HUWE1, as a well-known E3 ligase, has an oncogenic or tumor-suppressive role in various cancers by mediating ubiquitination and degradation of substrates. However, the role and action mechanism of HUWE1 in gastric cancer remain unclear. This study aimed to investigate whether HUWE1 plays a role in GC development in vitro by mediating transforming growth factor-β receptor 2 ubiquitination and degradation.
