Forge Inks Roche Deal For Antibiotic Aimed at Drug-Resistant Infections

Forge Therapeutics has set an agreement with Roche that gives the Swiss pharma giant the option to license a new antibiotic Forge is developing to treat serious drug-resistant bacterial lung infections. This week the preclinical-stage San Diego-based biotech announced that under the deal Forge will retain control of the program, FG-LpxC LUNG, until Roche decides whether to exercise its exclusive option.
